I took this leaf close-up photo in 1993 on an October day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If I remember correctly, it was alongside a pull-off on the road to Cades Cove. This is a scanned image of an original print from my 8008s SLR 35 mm Nikon camera. You will notice some specks on the image at full resolution of 5778x3995. These are less noticeable on the smaller size images, especially in the default luster finish offered at Fine Art America. However, if this bothers you it would be best not to purchase my Fall Leaf print.
My parents gave me my 1st camera when I turned 10 in 1965. It was a Kodak Instamatic 104, which I still own. My Dad had been an Air Force photographer and instilled in me my love for photography. I later took up oil painting, but my schedule for both photography and painting has been rather limited in recent years. I went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Horticulture. I worked in a wholesale greenhouse operation for 2 years and then general retail sales for 20 years. I became a small business owner of the Corner Stone II in 1999 which I closed in 2009. Today, I do part time office management as an independent contractor.
